Floor levelling
If a floor is uneven, I can assess and prepare it so there is a sound, level base ready for tiling or new flooring. Getting this stage right helps the finished floor sit properly and last.
Clear advice, careful preparation and a dependable finish for domestic and commercial jobs across Worcestershire. All work is carried out by a fully insured tradesman.

A long-lasting tiled finish starts before the first tile is fixed. I check the condition and level of the surface, deal with suitable boards or preparation where needed and plan the layout before cutting begins.
I work with common ceramic and porcelain tiles as well as patterned and large-format finishes. In showers and other wet areas, the build-up can include appropriate waterproofing or tanking before the visible tiling is installed.
Setting out is planned around the room so cuts, grout lines, corners and fittings look considered rather than improvised at the end.
A full refit begins by removing the old sanitaryware, tiles and any boards or finishes that cannot stay. Once the room is opened up, the base can be checked and the order of work agreed around plumbing and electrical requirements.
Preparation may include replacement plasterboard, wall repairs and making surfaces ready for tiling. I then complete the tiling and work through the final fit of the toilet, basin, bath or shower, radiator, skirting, sealing and finishing details.
Smaller jobs are welcome too, including replacing individual fixtures, repairing damaged areas and updating part of an existing bathroom without rebuilding the whole room.

Some jobs need the surface sorting before new tiles go down. Others need careful attention to bring existing tiling back to a clean finish.

I remove worn or discoloured grout and replace it with a fresh, tidy finish. It is a practical way to refresh sound tiling without replacing the whole area.
